JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A 51-year-old man accused of shooting a man and woman during an argument outside a Westside home last month pleaded not guilty Tuesday to two counts of attempted murder.

According to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office, William Scott Howell shot the couple Nov. 13 on Tintern Circle West. Authorities said the man was able to take control of the gun and tried to leave with his wife.
