Police release images of suspects in Wesconnett murder

Neighbors heard several gun shots; body found in yard

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Jacksonville Sheriff's Office homicide detectives looking for four men who may be involved in a deadly shooting on the Westside released surveillance images Tuesday of the suspects and their vehicle.

Ramon Antonio Anderson, 37, died after a shooting on Catoma Street in the Wesconnett area around 3 a.m. last Wednesday, Sgt. Jay Farhat said.

A neighbor called police after hearing several gunshots, and responding officers found Anderson's body in the yard of a house that is under construction.

Farhat said surveillance video showed four men inside a 4-door sedan, possibly a 2012-2014 Nissan Versa, near the scene. Police released images from that video, asking for the public's help to identify the men and the vehicle.
