JSO: Man robs Wells Fargo on Atlantic Blvd.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A man robbed a Wells Fargo bank on Atlantic Boulevard on Thursday, the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said.

The man walked into the bank at 3:20 p.m., handed a teller a note demanding money and left after the bank employee complied. He did not show a weapon, and no one was injured, police said.

The robber was described as a black man in his 30s with a scruffy beard, wearing a white Nike cap, a dark colored long-sleeved shirt with writing on the sleeves and dark-colored pants.

This was the 12th robbery or attempted robbery of a bank in Jacksonville this year.
