Much of the University of North Florida campus was without power Thursday morning, as were 1,900 JEA customers on Jacksonville's Southside.
According to Spinnaker, the student media outlet, power began to go out a 9:40 a.m. and was restored at 11:01 a.m. While some buildings and services had backup generators, the student union, and other major buildings were affected by the outage.
Traffic lights were also out at this time at the interjections on UNF Drive. Campus police directed traffic during the outage.
According to JEA's website at 11:20 a.m., all affected customers had power restored.
