JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Shortly after a Florida Missing Child Alert was issued, a toddler and her suicidal father were both found safe in the Orlando area early Saturday morning, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.

Jimmy Ngo, 32, had threatened to kill himself and his daughter, 21-month-old Nova Ngo, according to police.

A search then began for both of them after the toddler was reported missing Friday night.

Police said Nova had last been seen on Prosperity Lake Drive in the Chimney Lakes area. Ngo, described as being 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighing 140 pounds, reportedly took her and was believed to be driving a 2011 blue- or teal-colored Chevrolet Silverado crew cab with a light bar across the front of the vehicle and Florida tag number 1090PM.

Several hours later, police said, they were both located safe in the Orlando area.

The Sheriff's Office continues to investigate.
