JSO: Man arrested after shooting 2 neighboring homes, car

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Alcohol may have contributed to a man shooting mobile homes over the weekend, the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said.

Robert Burress, 30, was arrested Monday after shooting two neighbor's homes and a car, according to the JSO incident report.

Police said it happened Sunday at a mobile home park off Beach Boulevard, near Desalvo Road, on the Southside. 

Investigators said several shell casings were found outside the homes. Witness also told police that they saw Burress arguing with his partner outside their home before the shooting. 

Police said Burress didn't remember shooting, but did admit to owning a gun.

Burress was booked into the Duval County Jail and ordered held on $210,000 bond.
