JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A man is accused of using fake money to pay for a car, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.

Several weeks ago, police said, Anthony Grubbs, 29, used 41 counterfeit bills to purchase a vehicle from a woman.

She then reported it to police.

A warrant was issued Wednesday for Grubbs' arrest and he was taken into custody, the Sheriff's Office said.

Grubbs was booked into the Duval County Jail and ordered held on $75,000 bond, jail records show.
