Police: Man robs gas station of money, cigarettes

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Police are asking the public’s help Tuesday identifying a man seen in security footage robbing a Shell gas station on Ramona Boulevard near Interstate 10, on the city’s Westside.

At 1:40 a.m., an unknown man walked into the Shell gas station at 5971 Ramona Boulevard with one hand under his shirt gesturing to the clerk that he had a gun, officials said.

The man demanded the all of the money from the register and a pack of Newport cigarettes, officials said.
The unknown man was described as 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighing around 180 pounds with a full beard, wearing a long-sleeve shirt, a hat and glasses.
