MIDDLEBURG, Fla. – The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a crash where the driver took off after she was transported to the hospital.
The crash took place in Middleburg on Henley Road, southwest of Talisman Drive at 9:21 p.m. Wednesday.

According to the FHP report, she was traveling northwest on Henley Road when she missed a curve, and crossed a median before slamming her Dodge Journey SUV into another car. She was transported to St. Vincents Hospital in Clay County for minor injuries. While she was at the hospital, she fled before law enforcement arrived.
The driver in the second vehicle, 25-year-old Nicole Mosley, was transported to Orange Park Medical Center where she was treated for serious injuries.
Charges are pending in this crash, according to troopers.
