PALM COAST, Fla. – A 59-year-old man was hit and killed by an SUV in Flagler County Sunday evening, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The wreck happened just before 7 p.m. Sunday at the intersection of Palm Coast Parkway and Boulder Rock Drive.

According to the crash report, the man was on his bicycle and was not wearing a helmet when he failed to yield the right of way to the driver in the Dodge Nitro. It's unknown if the driver will face any charges.
The bicyclist was transported to Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center where he later died. The driver was not injured in the crash.
