JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – JEA lifted a boil water advisory Wednesday after a water main break closed a portion of westbound Normandy Boulevard at Fox Creek Drive around 11 a.m. Monday.
The precautionary boil water advisory affected customers in:
- Adams Lake Community
- Lauren Oaks Community
- Cherokee Cove Community
- Normandy Blvd., between Fox Creek Drive and Cecil Commerce Parkway
The notice was lifted after a bacteriological survey showed the water is now safe to drink, JEA officials said.
It is recommended that customers flush water lines for three minutes in order to remove any air and possible sediments from the lines.
