JSO: 2 sought in armed home invasion robbery at Ortega Farms apartment

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Jacksonville police on Wednesday evening released surveillance images of two men sought in an armed home invasion robbery last week in the Ortega Farms neighborhood. 

It happened just before 5:30 p.m. on March 22 at the Mission Springs Apartments on Catoma Street. 

According to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office, two men, one of whom was armed with an assault-style rifle, forced their way into an apartment and ordered the victim around at gunpoint while they looked for items to take. 

Police said both men were described as black males in their early 20s, about 5 feet 6-10 inches tall and weighing 160-180 pounds. They were both wearing dark pants and hoodies -- one of which had "KING 01" imprinted on the front and back.
