The body was discovered Friday by a cadaver dog from the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office as the Flagler County Sheriff's Office executed a search warrant.

An autopsy performed this week at the Medical Examiner’s Office in St. Augustine positively identified the body and determined the cause of death.

“We will do everything possible to bring this man’s killer or killers to justice,” Sheriff Rick Staly said. “We are conducting a thorough investigation.”
