Johnson told officers when they arrived at his home that his wife had left, and that she called because she suffers from post-traumatic stress disorder and needs medication.
Police then asked if they could search his home, according to the arrest report.
During the search, police said, they found inside the garage a small tent that housed 12 mature marijuana plants, as well as a grow lamp and a fan.
