Baker County school resource officers aim to tackle bullying in schools
Baker County Sheriff's Office gets newly-striped SRO vehicles
BAKER COUNTY, Fla. – In an attempt to send out the message that its school resource officers are ready to tackle bullying in schools, the Baker County Sheriff's Office is rolling out newly-striped SRO vehicles.
The graphics, which were donated by the Baker Prevention Coalition, are geared to appeal to the middle and high school students in the community.
The Sheriff's Office said its SROs are available to answer questions, look into allegations and maintain constant communication with victims of bullying. It hopes to do so through conversations with local students and by building relationships with students.
