Police: Ohio woman arrested, accused of stealing king crab legs from St. Augustine Publix

Sharon Schrader, 53, charged with retail theft

ST. AUGUSTINE BEACH, Fla. – An Ohio woman was arrested for allegedly trying to make off with king crab legs from a Publix, St. Augustine Beach police said.

It happened Wednesday afternoon at the store at 1033 A1A Beach Blvd.

Police said Sharon Schrader, 53, put $63 worth of the crab legs in a shopping cart and covered the box with bags of ice.

A store employee said he saw her leave without paying and stopped her.

Schrader is charged with retail theft.
