BRUNSWICK, Ga. – A Brunswick High School football coach accused of having an inappropriate relationship with a female student who's a senior at the school, has turned himself in Thursday evening, police said.

The investigation into Kenneth Mainor began last week. School police have not said who requested the investigation, but once that investigation began, probable cause was found to get a warrant for one count of sexual assault by a person having supervisory authority, a felony in the state of Georgia.

The 31-year-old is 6 feet tall, 190-215 pounds with shoulder-length dreadlocks and could be driving a silver 2000 Honda Accord with a Georgia tag.

Mainor has been suspended from the school district with a review happening by the board of education.

Individuals with information about Mainor are asked to call the Glynn County Schools Police Department at 912-267-4100, extension 7111.
