JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The sixth annual fish fry to benefit North Florida Land Trust will be held Saturday on Big Talbot Island.
Guests are encouraged to bring their own chairs, sit on the lawn and listen to live music by local artists. Junco Royals will play traditional old-time jazz and LPT will perform its Afro-Cuban beats. Bold City Brewery will provide the beer and Beer 30: San Marco will providing cider. Safe Harbor and Indulge Food Truck will serve up the food for the fish fry. Vegan and gluten-free options will also be available.

A Florida master naturalist will take people on a free guided nature hike. The hike is 1 1/2 miles and hikers will learn about the natural plants and wildlife on Big Talbot Island. The hikes leave at 12:30 p.m., 2 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. Space is limited. Guests are encouraged to sign up for their preferred time when purchasing tickets online.
The family-friendly event is from noon to 5 p.m. at Talbot House, 12134 Houston Ave.
Tickets are $30 in advance or $40 at the door and include entry and a meal. Children under 12 cost $10 in advance or $20 at the door and students with IDs are $15 in advance and $25 at the door. Tickets can be purchased at www.northfloridalandtrust.org/events/fishfry/.
