JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A 37-year-old man was arrested Monday in connection with a string of burglaries on the city's Westside, the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office announced Thursday night.

Christopher Bullard is charged with five burglaries. He was booked into the Duval County Jail on $250,000 bond.

Last week, police released photos capturing a man in the act of some of the burglaries and asked for the public's help identifying the man seen in the surveillance images.

Thanks to multiple tips, police said, they were able to identify the man in the photos as Bullard and issued warrants for his arrest.

Investigators said Bullard burglarized the Metro PCS on Timuquana Road on Jan. 17 and May 9; the Blanding Food Mart on Blanding Boulevard on Feb. 5 and April 9; and the Timuquana Food Store on Timquana Road on April 1.
