According to the arrest report, Daniel Taylor, 26, entered the restaurant on the premise of wanting to apply for a job.

The Subway employee told him applications could be made online. Taylor went and sat at a table, and waited until other customers left, then went back to the counter and told the employee to give him the money from the cash register, saying he had a gun, the report said.

The employee told deputies that Taylor partially pulled something from his waistband that looked like a gun.

The employee ran to the back of the Subway to call 911, and Taylor ran off, deputies said.

When he was caught, Taylor had cocaine and marijuana in his possession, but no gun, deputies said.
