JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A registered sex offender was arrested Wednesday after he was caught on surveillance video stealing a $2,000 play set from a business, the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said.

According to police, Perry Figge, 31, went to the Southern Recreation store on Edison Avenue in the Lackawanna neighborhood and asked how much the play set cost, and the owner said it wasn't for sale.

A week later, police said, surveillance video captured Figge and two others crawling through a fence, disassembling the play set and then hauling it away in two trips.

Figge was booked into the Duval County Jail, but has since bonded out.

There's no word on whether the two other people seen in the video were arrested.
