Police: 2 sought in unlocked car burglaries on Northside

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Police are asking for the public's help in identifying two men wanted for multiple unlocked car burglaries on the Northside, the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said.

Surveillance video captured the two men in the Captiva Bluff neighborhood committing multiple auto burglaries, police said.

The men were seen pulling on door handles of unlocked vehicles, rummaging through vehicles and taking whatever they could find, police said.

The crime alert is yet another example of why the sheriff's office is urging to people remove valuables from vehicles and lock the doors as part of the #9pmRoutine.
