PALM COAST, Fla. – A man who died June 30 after he was hit by a car while trying to walk across Interstate 95 near the Palm Coast Parkway exit has been identified, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
Douglas Reynolds, 49, was hit about 11:30 p.m. by a car driven by a 17-year-old girl from Blacksburg, Virginia, as he tried to run across the interstate.

Reynolds was thrown into the grassy area of the shoulder, where he died, troopers said.
The driver will not be facing charges.
