JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A Middleburg man accused of holding up a Southside gas station has been arrested.

It happened Tuesday night at the Shell gas station at Philips Highway and J. Turner Butler Boulevard.

According to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office, John Blanchett, 31, entered the gas station about 7:30 p.m. and told the clerk, "Give me all the money or I'll blow your brains out." The clerk opened the register and placed it on the counter, allowing Blanchett to take the cash, police said.
