Jacksonville police plan DUI patrol on Roosevelt Boulevard
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office will be looking out for drunk drivers on the city's Westside Friday evening.
Officers will monitoring Roosevelt Boulevard from Interstate 295 to I-10 between 8 p.m. and midnight.
The Sheriff's Office said the effort won't be a fixed checkpoint. Instead, officers patrolling the area will be focused on cracking down on impaired drivers.
