JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A Bank of America employee was arrested Thursday, accused of embezzling $29,000 in day care reimbursement funds from the bank, according to police.
Bisceglia Nixon, 34, received payments for two children from some time in 2011 to Jan. 2017, according to the police report. Authorities said an internal investigation for the bank checked with the day care and learned that Nixon’s children were never enrolled there.
Bank of America offers the Child Plus Program, which enables employees to get reimbursements for day care.
Nixon was confronted with the falsified claims and admitted to the fraud. Nixon was fired in January.
