Deputies search for 2 men who robbed Circle K

Armed robbery reported at State Road 16 convenience store

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. – Deputies are searching for two men accused of robbing a Circle K convenience store on State Road 16, the St. Johns County Sheriff's Office said.

Deputies said the men entered the store just before midnight Sunday and lingered inside until other patrons walked out.

One of the men pulled out a handgun at the counter while checking out and demanded cash from the register, investigators said.

The other man appeared to be keeping a lookout during the robbery, deputies said.

After the clerk complied with the man's demands the two men fled ran off eastbound on SR 16, deputies said.

Investigators searched for the men in the area but did not find them.
