According to his arrest report, Wynn stabbed his mother multiples times in the chest, neck and shoulders. She ran from the home on Swamp Owl Lane to a neighbor's house, where police found her screaming and lying on her back.

She was taken to a hospital with serious injuries, police said.

When officers went to her home, police said, all the doors to her home were locked and there was blood on the door handles.

Wynn's father arrived, opened the door and Wynn surrendered without incident, the arrest report said.

He was taken to UF Health for treatment of unspecified injuries, and absentee booked into the Duval County Jail. Wynn's bond was set at $250,000.

According to the police report, Wynn's father told officers his son had made suicidal comments to him earlier in the day and, at one point, Wynn asked him for a gun, saying, "I want to end this."
