LAND O' LAKES, Fla. – Shocking video captured the moment Florida law enforcement officials became victims of a vehicle crash at the scene of another accident they were investigating.
Two Pasco County deputies were assisting victims of a crash in Land O' Lakes on Tuesday when a pickup truck turned into the path of another truck, sending the two colliding into the first accident scene.
The video shows both of the deputies and a witness at the scene being struck by the pickup trucks, while one deputy and a woman were thrown to the ground, Local10.com reports.
The deputies were injured but are expected to be fine, while there is no update in the woman who was also hit.
"This is an example of the dangers that our men and women face every day they put on the uniform." said the Pasco County Sheriff's Office on a post to Facebook.
