Man claiming to be armed robs St. Johns County TD Bank, deputies say

ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla.Officials are searching for a man they say robbed a TD Bank in St. Johns County on Tuesday.

The St. Johns County Sheriff's Office said the man entered the bank at 2501 U.S. 1 South and Lewis Point Road at 3:15 p.m., approached the teller and demanded money while implying he had a weapon.

Deputies said the teller turned over an undisclosed amount of money to the robber, who then left the area on foot.

The man is described as black, with a light complexion, and facial hair. He was wearing sunglasses, a ball cap, blue hoodie and bluejeans.
