Man killed in multi-vehicle St. Johns County crash

ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. – A Jacksonville man was killed in a multi-vehicle crash Sunday night in St. Johns County.

The Florida Highway Patrol responded around 9:36 p.m. to the crash on Interstate 95, north of County Road 210. Damon McDine, 42 was killed while traveling southbound on I-95 in his 2006 Chevy Trailblazer.

According to the crash report, McDine hit two vehicles before striking the guardrail and crossing into the northbound side of the highway. A third vehicle traveling in the northbound lanes was then hit in the crash. 

Three people were injured in the crash and transported to Baptist South. Two left lanes of I-95 northbound were blocked during the investigation.

Charges are pending in crash.
