ST. AUGUSTINE BEACH, Fla. – A man was rushed to Flagler Hospital in critical condition Monday afternoon after being pulled from the ocean by a good Samaritan near the St. Augustine Beach Pier, authorities said.
According to St. Johns County Fire Rescue, the middle-aged man was unresponsive in the water about 1 p.m. Monday when he was pulled to shore by another beachgoer.

Firefighters responding to the call immediately started CPR, and he was taken to hte hospital in critical condition.
The man's name has not been released.
