LAKE CITY, Fla. – A late Friday evening crash claimed the life of a Lake City man, according to Florida Highway Patrol.
John Davis, 46, was driving a 2002 Kawasaki motorcycle eastbound on U.S.90. A 2004 Ford Explorer was slowing in order to turn right onto Southeast Old Country Road. Davis allegedly didn't see the Explorer in time to avoid a collision, police said. Davis’ motorcycle collided with the back of the Explorer and overturned.

The Explorer then collided with a 2015 Chrysler 200, police said.
Davis died at the scene of this crash, police said.
