Man injured in shooting at Arlington apartment complex, JSO says


JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A man was injured in a shooting Tuesday night at an apartment complex in Arlington, the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said.

Officers responded just before 8:30 p.m. to the shooting in the common area of Oakwood Villa Apartments on Kona Avenue.

Police said they found a man who had been shot in his hand and leg. The man was taken to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The gunman ran off in an unknown direction after the shooting, according to police.
