JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A man and woman were shot Wednesday at an apartment on Ricker Road in the city’s Oak Hill neighborhood, the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said.
Police were called to the La Casa Prima Apartments about 2:57 p.m. regarding a shooting. Responding officers said they found a man and woman, believed to be related, shot in an apartment.

The woman was taken to an area hospital in non-life-threatening condition. The man was treated at the scene and released, police said.
Police did not say if the victims know the shooter.
Officers said the two victims may be brother and sister. News4Jax is working on confirmation.
Police said the shooter left in a vehicle. Authorities have not released any details describing the shooter.
