Monster gator captured on Central Florida beach
Deputies help trapper relocate beast to remote area
VERO BEACH, Fla. – "Jaws" may keep some people out of the ocean, but now another monster may prevent them from going to the beach altogether.
A 12-foot alligator was spotted on Vero Beach in Indian River County, prompting a call to authorities, WKMG-TV reports.
Deputies helped a trapper remove the beast, which was crawling on the sand near Saint Christopher Lane.
The gator was relocated to a remote area.
No injuries were reported.
