According to her arrest affidavit, Clancy was seen on surveillance video withdrawing money from the victim’s account at 121 Financial.

There were several unauthorized transactions, totaling $4,960, investigators said. The transactions included hotel rooms, Uber trips, grocery stores, and cash withdrawals, according to the affidavit.

When the credit union showed the victim surveillance pictures, she was able to identify the person in the photos as her grandson’s girlfriend, Clancy, police said.

The victim said Clancy lived with her for about a year previously.

A warrant was issued for Clancy’s arrest in early August, and she was arrested Oct. 25 when she was seen hitching on Blanding Boulevard, according to police.

As of Wednesday, she remained in the Duval County jail on $90,000 bond, jail records show.
