JACKSONVILLE, Fla – We topped out in the warm, beautiful mid to upper 70s today under partly cloudy skies. Tonight our temperatures will be mild for the start of the evening, but especially after sunset they will turn cool.
Tonight the easterly winds die down after sunset at 6:39pm. Expect some clearing tonight and the near full moon (Full on Saturday) will be bright and beautiful.
Overnight temperatures will get down into the mid to upper 50s by sunrise Thursday. The warming trend continues as high pressure continues to push over the Atlantic waters. Patchy fog is possible early, and this quiet, warm weather pattern through the weekend will make us fog prone. Afternoon highs will climb into the upper 70s to low 80s in our inland areas, and into the mid to upper 70s along our sandy shores. Winds will be light, out of the northeast between 5-10mph.
Thursday night we will see cool overnight lows in the upper 50s and low 60s. Skies will be mostly clear until the early morning hours when we may see patchy fog.
Friday warms up into the low 80s by the afternoon hours under sunny skies, there are no significant chances for showers Friday or through the weekend.
The weekend looks mild in the morning and warm in the afternoon hours with mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies. Don't forget to set your clocks back an hour on Sunday for the time change- we get an extra hour of sleep!
