JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A cold front is heading through our area tonight, ahead of the front we will see isolated to scattered showers and downpours, especially is Southeastern Georgia down to the I-10 counties in Northeastern Florida.
The best chance for rain are between 5pm-8:30p.m. Most of the showers will be offshore by 9:00p.m. The rain will mostly be light, but a few pockets of heavy rain are possible.
The front behind the showers pushed through after midnight, clearing our skies out and bringing much cooler air down into the Southeast.
Expect to wake up in the chilly mid to low 50s early Friday morning. The skies will be cloudy to start off with, but will clear out during the day on Friday, while temperatures struggle to reach the upper 60s for an afternoon high. Expect gusty North northeasterly winds around 15mph, and stronger along the coastline.
Saturday starts out chilly as well, in the low 50s. It will be cool for the Veteran's Day parade, but there are no chances for showers. Afternoon highs on Saturday will only top out in the cool mid 60s and we may see an increase in clouds as we head into the evening hours.
Sunday will be chilly and a little cloudy, temperatures will start in the mid 50s and warm into the low 70s for the afternoon hours. There is a 20% chance for an isolated shower.
