JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – An American Airlines flight 4364 from leaving Jacksonville International Airport was forced to return and make an emergency landing Friday morning.
The flight was headed to Ronald Regan Washington National Airport in Washington, D.C. around 7:15 a.m. when pilots were unable to retract the landing gear, according to the Jacksonville Airport Authority. FlightAware shows the plane landed back at JAX at 8:09 a.m.
Authorities said 56 people were on board at the time. The plane landed safely and no injuries were reported.
American Airlines canceled the flight after several delays.
