JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Sunday will give way to partly cloudy skies, warmer temperatures with high the mid to upper 70s and lower rain chances (20%). Breezes will remain in place as high pressure to our north continues to advent northeasterly winds (10-15 mph) in our direction, but winds will not be a gusty as they were today. Calm and more seasonable high temperatures in the low 70s will continue with low rain chances as we kick off the work week.
There is a slight chance of a few light showers moving into Southeast Georgia late tonight as a cold front quickly dives south through the region. A stray sprinkle along the coast cannot be totally ruled out either. Mild temps will prevail tonight ahead of the cold front with above normal low temps (mid-60s) expected.
Jaguars Game Day Forecast: Calm, breezy, low to mid 70s. Bring your sunglasses as partly cloudy skies will give way to a decent amount of sunshine.
Beach & Boating Forecast: Rough surf and strong currents expected to continue today, therefore, there is a high risk for rip currents and high surf advisory in place as strong northeasterly winds push ashore.
