JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A 69-year-old man died Friday night after his Harley Davidson crashed on the ramp from Interstate 295 to I-95 southbound ramp near Greenland Road, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
Troopers said Jose Alberto Perez, of Navarre, Florida, was riding about 7:45 p.m. when his motorcycle ran off the ramp and struck a guardrail. He was taken to Orange Park Medical Center, where he died.

According to the accident report, Perez was wearing a helmet.
The I-295 southbound ramp to get onto I-95 south was blocked for several hours.
