LAKE CITY, Fla. – A woman accused of dropping her pants and underwear in front of two boys told police she did nothing wrong.
Jenney Juanita Moreland, 37, of Lake City, is now facing one count of lewd and lascivious exhibition and one count of resisting arrest, according to her arrest report.
The report, obtained by News4Jax, stated the incident happened Tuesday morning in front of an S&S convenience store.
The father of two boys, ages 14 and 15, and a female passenger told police it happened while they were sitting in their car. The father said Moreland walked up beside his vehicle, pulled her pants and underwear down then exposed herself to his sons.
According to the report, Moreland also walked in front of the car then pulled her pants down a second time, but she may not have realized the boys’ father pulled out his cellphone and recorded video of the episode.
Moreland was still nearby when an officer answered the complaint.
When Moreland was questioned about the allegation, she told the officer she had a bug in her pants and that she saw nothing wrong with pulling her pants down in front of children, the report said.
When the officer looked at the cellphone video, he noted in his report that Moreland was clearly seen pulling her pants down and keeping them down for one minute. Moreland was then taken into custody.
Moreland was booked on the aforementioned charges and held in lieu of $6,000 bail.
Moreland has a lengthy criminal history. News4Jax found nearly 11 arrests since 2006 for drug offenses, assault and probation violations. Three of those arrests were this year.
