Police: Man sought in Five Points gas station armed robbery

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – An unknown man is being sought in connection with an armed robbery that occurred Monday night at a Five Points gas station, the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said.

Police said at 7:45 p.m., the man went into the Shell gas station on Post Street and walked to the rear of the store.

The man approached the counter and demanded money from the clerk, lifting his shirt up to show a gun, police said.

The clerk opened the cash register and handed the man an unspecified amount of money. The man then left the store, police said.
