Cool and beautiful evening, with patchy fog early Friday

Warm & sunny pattern continues into the weekend

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Another warm, sunny, & beautiful afternoon turns cool overnight. We topped out well into the upper 70s today and will head down into the mid 50s overnight. Expect patchy. dense fog late tonight into Friday morning.

Tonight will be cooling down nicely after sunset. Patchy Dense Fog may form, especially as we slip into the 50s late tonight, early tomorrow.

Friday morning will be prone to patchy dense fog as well, with temperatures in the mid to upper 50s for most, and in the low 60s along the coastline. Expect clear skies once the patchy fog clears and warming temperatures. Under partly cloudy skies during the afternoon hours our temperatures will top out in the mid to upper 70s once again.

The weekend looks great, it may start off a touch cloudy on Saturday, but clearing skies to partly cloudy by the afternoon hours allows another nice warm up into the mid to upper 70s. Sunday will warm into the mid 70s after a cool start in the upper 50s. There is only a 20% chance for an isolated showers Sunday.

The warm and dry weather pattern carries us through the middle of the work week. On Thursday a cold front will push through, bringing a decent chance for showers and a considerable cool down afterwards. I don't think we will see our first freeze of the season with this cold front, but I do think you will be able to wear sleeves for a few days.
