JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Enjoy our mild weather today because the warm days are limited.
Today temperatures climb to the mid 70s with partly to mostly cloudy skies. No rain is anticipated today or Tuesday. Tomorrow will be warmer around 80 with a southerly flow adding to the boost.
Then the weather goes downhill through the day Wednesday. A cold front moves in setting up showers through the late afternoon and evening along with cooler temps into the 60s.
By Thursday the front stalls with a wedge of colder low 60s over us and just a few scattered showers Thursday and a cool NE breeze at 15 mph.
Friday looks lousy with all day rain, cold, cloudy, breezy conditions.
Another frontal passage Saturday sends the chilliest air of the season into town. The rain clears out but clouds linger Saturday. Our first freeze of the season will likely occur Sunday morning.
Long range models indicate most of the first half of December will have below normal temperatures with many days in the 60s through the 15th.
