JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Since 2007, 847 greyhounds have tested positive for drugs, according to a new report from the group Grey 2K USA.

The news follows a News4Jax report from earlier this year that revealed racing greyhounds used at the Bestbet track in Orange Park tested positive for a cocaine derivative.

The new summary from Grey 2K says 71 of the dogs with drugs in their systems tested positive for cocaine.

In June, the state suspended the license of a greyhound trainer at the Orange Park track, after saying his dogs were among those that tested positive for cocaine.
