JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A person was reported shot Monday evening during what Jacksonville police described as a domestic dispute in the Charter Point area of Arlington.
The shooting was reported just after 6:30 p.m. on Covered Creek Lane, just north of the intersection of Fort Caroline Road and University Club Boulevard.

Officers discovered the the gun and detained one person at the scene. The second person fled from the home before police arrived and investigators don't know if that person was injured.
Aggravated Battery Unit detectives were called and are investigating the incident.
