JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The SWAT team was called to an apartment complex on the Southside after neighbors say a man dragged a woman inside a home.
According to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office, 21-year-old Korey Richardson was taken into custody. The woman is expected to be alright.

Officers were called to the Park at Levanzo apartment complex around 10:30 p.m. Sunday where witnesses reported they heard what sounded like a man beating a woman inside one of the apartments. Neighbors also report there was a child with the man and the woman at the time.
The SWAT team was called after it became clear that Richardson was not letting the woman leave and there was a hostage situation. He eventually did let the woman and the child leave the apartment.
Richardson was arrested and charged with domestic battery and false imprisonment. The woman was shaken up and had minor injuries. The child was not hurt during the incident, according to police.
