Philips Highway, JTB intersection closed for signal work

Pedestrian signals being added to existing traffic signals


JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Florida Department of Transportation temporarily shut down the intersection of Philips Highway and J. Turner Butler Boulevard Thursday to add pedestrian signals to the existing traffic signals.

The closure was conducted as part of the Interstate 95, J. Turner Butler Boulevard interchange improvement project. 

Law enforcement was present to direct traffic during the work.
